Our licensed toddler care program in Southwest Edmonton provides a highly secure, nurturing environment. Led by Level 2 & 3 Certified Early Childhood Educators (ECEs), we focus on sensory-rich play, child-led vocabulary development, physical motor coordination, and gentle social-emotional transitions.
- Main floor program with max 2 small groups per room (never in a crowd)

Preschoolers

Prepare your child for a confident start to kindergarten in our bright upstairs preschool area. Our program features play-based early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and active exploration without heavy drilling.

What are the qualifications of your daycare educators?
At Tiny Genius Daycare, we hold our staff to the highest standards. All of our child care rooms are led by Level 2 and Level 3 Certified Early Childhood Educators (ECEs). Every team member holds active First Aid & CPR certifications, has undergone thorough police record clearances (Vulnerable Sector Check), and participates in ongoing early childhood development training.
What are your operating hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We offer these extended hours to support working parents, commuters, and busy families in Southwest Edmonton and surrounding neighborhoods.
Are your monthly parent fees really $326.25?
Yes! Under the Alberta-Canada Child Care Agreement, licensed childcare is set at standard flat parent fees: $326.25/month for full-time care (100+ hours/month) and $230.00/month for part-time care (50-99 hours/month). The remaining portion of the tuition is covered directly by the automatic Alberta Affordability Grant paid directly to our daycare. No application is needed by parents to receive this base reduction.
What age groups do you accept at your Edmonton facility?
We accept toddlers starting at 19 months up to 3 years old, and preschoolers from 3 years old up to 4.5 years (pre-kindergarten readiness age).
Is there a registration fee to secure a placement?
Yes, there is a one-time administrative registration fee of $75. This processing fee secures your child's placement slot and registers them in our management systems.
What safety and security measures do you have in place?
Our facility is equipped with secure keypad digital entry, strict authorized pick-up verification protocols, and continuous indoor surveillance to ensure all children are safe, monitored, and protected at all times.
